Kensaku
Oshiro

Kensaku Oshiro was born in Okinawa, Japan, in 1977.

After gaining a Master degree in Industrial Design at the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan in 1999, he began working with various studios until 2004, when he joined the design team at Lissoni Associati where he worked until 2012.

He then moved to London to join BarberOsgerby studio and, in 2015, he opened his own studio in Milan.

Kensaku has taken part to numerous exhibitions and competitions and has obtained a range of prestigious international awards: in 2016 he has been nominated EDIDA Young Designer Talent by Japan Edition and in 2018 received the Rising Talent Award Maison&Objet Paris.

Among Kensaku’s collaborations: Boffi, De Padova, Gan, Interiors, Kristalia, Ligne Roset, M+, Muji, Poltrona Frau, Viccarbe.

Mist

Mist is a modular mosaic which features two different dimensions of joint. It’s made of float glass rectangular chips in three different sizes.
